URC is a field of study of not just rhythm but extends into the universal principles that underly creative manifestation. It incorporates a musical training system that activates the fundamental rhythmic intelligence within the body subconscious. It is also a process that generates awareness, presence and inner silence through the power of simultaneous perception in rhythm. URC treats rhythm as a self organising, generative energy system - the collective rhythm, the individual's rhythm, the drum, the leader and the inaudible wave are all flexible, interconnected and interdependent elements of a constantly evolving rhythmic system that moves towards increasing levels of synchronisation capacity and higher and higher energy states.
Musicality in this type of field is developed through the direct and profound experience of one's own primal rhythmic intelligence. The power of self organisation generates deep synchronisation within the collective, leading to changes within human consciousness. Inertia, resistance rigidity (that which is untouchable, unmovable or unwilling) will come into contact with this open, flexible and resonant field of synchronisation and naturally transform.

Accessing the power of rhythm through learning any form or structure can so easily become a prison, because the mind focuses on what we can hear and see. It focuses on what can be defined and known. However, the essence of rhythm is not found in form. Essence is found in what you can't hear, in what you can't see, it is in the realm of the inaudible, the undefinable, the unknowable. Even though it cannot be grasped, essence can nevertheless be experienced, and through repeated experience one can objectively observe certain ingredients or principles while in it's flow - and these principles will always be universal.
Self-Organization is the power of nature, We are able to connect with this power through rhythm process founded in universal principles.

RHYTHM - SELF ORGANISATION & NON LINEAR LEARNING
There are many things that can be learnt from the behaviour of dynamic systems.
One lesson is that life thrives on the edge of "what is possible" and "what is not possible","what is stable" and and "what is unstable" - it is the refined fluctuation between these two states that is the genesis of creative intelligence.
URC is a non-linear dynamic rhythm process which can take place within a group setting or alone as one's own musical practice or meditation. Multiple layers of interacting rhythmic elements such as feet, hand, voice and vestibular movement form a system with the inaudible wave. Synchronisation of a multi layered process such as this cannot happen through will alone - chaos phases allow the system to self organise, driving the system into higher and higher capacity for synchronisation and thus higher energy states. This is an iterative process where rhythmic intelligence, spontaneity and creativity increase with each new fluctuation of chaos and order. Learning in this type of field is non - linear i.e. one can oscillate between the polarities of "deep clarity" and "not knowing" within a blink of an eye. With each return to clarity, a deeper understanding emerges, not just of the rhythmic landscape but also of what it means to learn.
